Maintenance and changing the project website from the Microgen project to the “Microgen Network”. This service will be hired as an external service. Each of the components of the network will be able to upload the information they consider relevant, allowing the publication of the main results within the research group. Each IP will be responsible of the uploaded information to this website. This makes possible a more dynamic web-site, allowing rapid changes without too many mediators. Important sections of this web will be: (i) publications, (ii) projects related to activities of the network, (iii) protocols, (iv) software developed within the network groups and, (iv) discussion forum(s). The main purpose will be to better the communication and exchange of ideas and information. Bacterial Genomics is in continuous development mainly by the multiple improvements of sequencing techniques, therefore it is very important for the Spanish groups to maintain a close contact and exchange as much information, in order to be competitive in this field with large biotechnology possibilities.

This network will have participation in social networks (Facebook and Twitter) and collaboration with information professionals whenever posible.
